The church is taking a trip on Tuesday, May 5th to see “David.” All are welcome, but please RSVP to the church office (573-635-1041) by Friday, April 17, so that appropriate plans can be made.  This is usually an 11:00 am - 11:00 pm trip.  Tickets for the show will be around $60, the cost for the bus will depend on the number going, and we will also be stopping for dinner.  

Spring is around the corner and it’s time to do some spring cleaning at the church. Please join us to help out! We’ll be cleaning the kitchen, as well as the friendship room, and polishing brass handrails on the steps. If you see something we need to address, please let the church office know.

The Bell Choir will be providing an assortment of breakfast casseroles and coffee cakes/pastries.  You've got enough on your plate; let us give you one of ours.  It's free, so come enjoy fellowship with your church family.

There will be hundreds of eggs, but it goes fast, so you will want to be on time.  This is for all ages up thru 5th grade—friends, neighbors, and  grandkids are invited.  If it rains, the hunt will be indoors.  And please bring those kids back on Sunday because Easter is about the lamb, not the bunny.

Central Church is invited to worship alongside our brothers and sisters at Living Hope Church at 7:30PM on Good Friday. The service will be hosted at Living Hope Church which is located at 3011 South Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City. We hope to see you there.

Ever wonder how to make sourdough bread? We’ve got an expert teacher who is going to walk us through it in the church kitchen. We’ll have snacks to share while we hang out and learn. And here’s the fun bonus: you’ll go home with your very own sourdough starter. Bring a friend and join us!

There will be a meeting to approve funding for a new air conditioning unit following the 10:15 service. There will be no early service. Lunch will be provided after the meeting.

Please join us for worship at 10:15, the congregational meeting following worship, and the luncheon after.

The sanctuary has been beautiful for the Christmas season, but what goes up must come down.  Please plan to stay after 10:15 worship to help get things taken down and put back away.  You will be amazed at how organized this is.

Join us for our beautiful candlelight service. We will sing Christmas carols, hear readings from God’s Word, and be reminded of the God who came to dwell with us. There will be a special children’s message and a gift for all kids!

Come watch our kids get share the nativity story with you.  Plan to stay an extra 25-30 minutes to fill your heart.  

All kids up through age 5th grade are invited ... grab a friend, neighbor, grandkid, or whomever, and come join us.  If you just like to watch kids have fun, you can be a 10:00 person who puts icing on the cookies for the kids to decorate.  There will be crafts and games, cake and ice cream, and we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

Join us every other Sunday (2nd & 4th Sundays) as we study The Five Solas of the Reformation—the core foundations of our Protestant faith. We meet in the Friendship Room located just off the gym.

Come and celebrate Shirley Klein for her 30 years of service as Central’s organist. A reception will take place in the gym following the congregational meeting. We are asking you to bring some festive finger foods or favorite appetizers to share. Drinks and cake will be provided. We hope you will join us for food, fellowship and fun.

Join us as we share our German heritage of Christmas markets with the community. We will have a craft show market, baked goods sale, and breakfast bonanza (from 7:30-10:30). All profits from the bake sale and breakfast will go to the Salvation Army.
