Come on out for a fabulous German style meal and to help support the Room at the Inn (all profits support this ministry to people in need of housing in Jefferson City). The menu consists of grilled sausage, German potato salad, green beans, fried apples, sauerkraut, rolls, pie, iced tea water or coffee. Children’s menu will be hot dogs, chips, green beans and dessert. Cost is $17 for adults and $7 for kids. Kids 5 and under eat free.

Ahoy Mateys, land ho! It’s National Talk Like a Pirate Day and we be planning a seafarin’ adventure ye won’t want to miss! There will be tons of themed games…lobbing cannon balls, swabbin’ decks, walkin’ planks, and more! Ye’ll also find scallywag crafts, pirate grub, and…shiver me timbers, there even be a Bible adventure in the Sea of Galilee. We’re going after the real treasure. The church is taking a trip on Tuesday, May 5th to see “David.” All are welcome, but please RSVP to the church office (573-635-1041) by Friday, April 17, so that appropriate plans can be made.  This is usually an 11:00 am - 11:00 pm trip.  Tickets for the show will be around $60, the cost for the bus will depend on the number going, and we will also be stopping for dinner.  

Spring is around the corner and it’s time to do some spring cleaning at the church. Please join us to help out! We’ll be cleaning the kitchen, as well as the friendship room, and polishing brass handrails on the steps. If you see something we need to address, please let the church office know.

The Bell Choir will be providing an assortment of breakfast casseroles and coffee cakes/pastries.  You've got enough on your plate; let us give you one of ours.  It's free, so come enjoy fellowship with your church family.

There will be hundreds of eggs, but it goes fast, so you will want to be on time.  This is for all ages up thru 5th grade—friends, neighbors, and  grandkids are invited.  If it rains, the hunt will be indoors.  And please bring those kids back on Sunday because Easter is about the lamb, not the bunny.

Central Church is invited to worship alongside our brothers and sisters at Living Hope Church at 7:30PM on Good Friday. The service will be hosted at Living Hope Church which is located at 3011 South Ten Mile Drive, Jefferson City. We hope to see you there.

Ever wonder how to make sourdough bread? We’ve got an expert teacher who is going to walk us through it in the church kitchen. We’ll have snacks to share while we hang out and learn. And here’s the fun bonus: you’ll go home with your very own sourdough starter. Bring a friend and join us!

There will be a meeting to approve funding for a new air conditioning unit following the 10:15 service. There will be no early service. Lunch will be provided after the meeting.

The sanctuary has been beautiful for the Christmas season, but what goes up must come down.  Please plan to stay after 10:15 worship to help get things taken down and put back away.  You will be amazed at how organized this is.
